First startup challenge completed!

The 1st International Startup Innovation Challenge finished with a bang on our DEMO Day with the presentation of three great solutions. For 9 weeks, 3 startups had time to develop their ideas for our three defined challenges.

Together with experts from the respective units, they worked diligently on the following projects:

• Future-proof prediction of electricity consumption (OmegaLambdaTec (OLT) and Sales)

• Automated procurement and evaluation of suppliers with a focus on ESG criteria (Thinkers.ai and Purchasing)

• Autonomous inspection solution for low-voltage lines (LINIA and Grid)

The solutions were impressive! More then 120 people joined us to come see the solutions for themselves at the PowerCenter and via livestream.

Buuuut... after the Challenge is before the Challenge - our work on these implementations is not only continuing within the project teams themselves, but the 2nd International Startup Innovation Challenge is already in the starting blocks.
