Web analytics and cookies

We use cookies on the one hand for the purpose of providing the service on our website and on the other hand to be able to carry out the uses described in the "Cookie Table". Cookies are data records that are sent from the web server to the user's web browser and stored there for later retrieval. You determine whether cookies can be collected by clicking "Yes, I agree" in the cookie banner when visiting the homepage. Only then will the cookies listed above be stored on your terminal device. In addition, you can also set your browser in such a way that you are informed before a cookie is stored and storage only takes place if you expressly accept this. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.

Our website uses functions of the following web analytics services:

Advertising

We use the cookies from Google AdWords, Facebook and Adform to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns, to limit the frequency with which you are shown a particular ad, to record that you have visited a particular website and to only display ads that are relevant to you and your interests. In particular, information about the time of your visit to the platform, about the ads you clicked on, and about your previous user behavior is collected and stored. This information is not passed on to third parties, but is only used for campaign management and campaign control. Further information, in particular on the type of information collected as well as the purpose of use, can be obtained from

WIX

Wix.com is a cloud-based online platform for creating HTML5 websites and mobile websites. The website builder allows you to integrate features developed by Wix or third-party developers into your own website. More information can be found at Privacy | Wix.com

Piwik Pro

We use Piwik PRO, a software to perform web analytics, on our website. The service provider is the German company Piwik PRO GmbH, Kurfürstendamm 21, 10719 Berlin, Germany. You can learn more about the data processed by using Piwik PRO in the Privacy Policy on Privacy Policy of Piwik PRO GmbH - DSGVO.

We calculate metrics such as bounce rate, page views, sessions and the like to understand how our website is used. We may also create visitor profiles based on browsing history to analyze visitor behavior, display personalized content, and conduct online campaigns.

The collection and storage of personal data by Piwik Pro currently takes place exclusively in member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The data is stored for 25 months.

Piwik PRO does not transfer the data about you to other sub-processors or third parties and does not use it for its own purposes.

Hotjar

We use the program Hotjar from the company "Hotjar Limited" (Level 2, St Julian's Business Centre, 3, Elia Zammit Street, St Julian's STJ 1000, Malta) to statistically analyze the data from our website visitors. Hotjar allows us to record, store and analyze user behavior (mouse movements, clicks, scroll height dwell time, etc.) in anonymized form for randomly selected visitors to our websites. In addition, information on the operating system, browser, incoming and outgoing references (links), geographical origin, as well as resolution and type of device are evaluated for statistical purposes. For this purpose, Hotjar sets cookies on end devices of the users.

If you do not want Hotjar to process your data, you can deactivate the use of cookies in the settings of your web browser and delete cookies that are already active. Disable Hotjar by setting the DoNotTrack header in your browser. You can disable the collection of data by Hotjar by clicking on the following link https://www.hotjar.com/legal/compliance/opt-out. An opt-out function will be activated, which prevents Hotjar from continuing to follow your behavior on the website. No data will be transferred to Hotjar's servers as a result either.

You can find more about the data processing by Hotjar here.

Sentry

Wix uses the Sentry service (to improve the technical stability of our service by monitoring system stability and identifying code errors. Sentry serves these purposes alone and does not evaluate data for advertising purposes. User data, such as device details or time of error, is collected anonymously and not used in a personalized manner, and is subsequently deleted. For more information, please see Sentry's privacy policy: https://sentry.io/privacy/ .

Your IP address is collected, but immediately anonymized. This means that only a rough localization is possible.

Social-Plugins

In order to be able to recommend and share the articles and videos available on our homepage in social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter and Google+, recommendation buttons ("social plug-ins") are integrated on our pages.
These social plug-ins are identified by icons. Through these social plug-ins, a direct connection between the user's browser and the server of the social media platform is established when visiting the marked websites. If the user is logged in to the social media platform while visiting the platform and clicks on the icon, he or she can link content from the website to his or her account. We have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted in this way or its use by the social media platforms. The user can obtain information on this directly from the respective operators of the social media platforms. If the user does not want the websites to be associated with his or her account and does not want data to be transferred, he or she must log out of his or her social media account before visiting the platform. We use the "Shariff" tool developed by Heise to integrate these social plug-ins. With Shariff, you can use social media without unnecessarily compromising your privacy. The c't project Shariff replaces the usual share buttons of social networks and protects your surfing behavior from prying eyes. Nevertheless, a single click on the button is enough to share information with others

You can send us your revocation by e-mail to the e-mail address hello@wertstatt8.at.
